Eames + Miller Masterpiece

You can not fault an Eames Lounge Chair, full stop!

How generic would it be to say that it's a piece of art, a modern design icon, inspirational & timeless along with a barrage of other descriptive words & phrased stuff? but i have to say it's all true, there is no other way to say it but all the above!

Just look at the worn upholstery, beautifully finished moulded plywood frame & footstool ... a grand plinth for your feet. Just imagine seated in it, drinking
a cup of coffee n the morning, reading in the evening, Mac on lap... ohh the dreams! If i had £3000 i would buy this baby straight away, but for now ... i think ill save my work tips & hope i can get a remake cheap off ebay!

New Balance MT580

The shoe is a mass collaboration between New Balance Footwear, Stussy Clothing, Undefeated Store & Hectic Clothing. Traditionally a running shoe designed by one of Britain' s finest sports performance footwear companies, that has been altered (in my opinion) into one of the most visually pleasing & well finished shoes out of any the past NB collaborations, or on par with their 1st Staple "Pigeon" collabs.

The materials & colours just make THE MOST perfect finish that any sneaker should have... a fine black nubuck upper with a gum sole (what more could one so simply ask?) & a purple satin print lining that hints at the ankle & sock to match....perfect!

Purple or Black laces anyone?

1934 BMW R7

Dont you just wish that one day you could be 55 having a crisis, a pile of disposable cash & with a mangled spine to boot, only to wish that you could make it even worse & end up saying to yourself, "Ooooooh me aching back, but at least i look cool".

"As the styles of Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Streamline and Zigzag Moderne emerged after the Industrial Revolution, designers as well as consumers fully embraced the Age of the Machine. Shiny chrome surfaces lay across curving forms or over expansive horizontal planes and glorified a dynamic new world on the move.

And suddenly, design was muted as World War II approached. Inspiration was buried away, along with some innovative and visually stunning design work. Skip ahead to 2005 when some curious members of BMW Classic opened a box and found the R7 bike 75 assembled - although not in shining condition. The engine was corroded, the metalwork was in dire shape, the battery was unusable, but the opportunity for restoration could not be ignored.

Various specialists at the BMW workshop discovered the original design drawings in the archive collections and conjured up the ghosts from Streamline Moderne’s past. Missing parts were sourced, others were rebuilt, the chrome was polished and the frame was painted black. And the final test, retuning the 1934 BMW motorcycle to the street, proved to be worth the wait nearly three quarters of a century later. - Andrew J Wiener via Bike Exif

I can not stress how much i love the look of this beautiful beast, she just oozes style, strength & that it means business. The contours just make me it everything, the low ride, black leather saddle, a war bird that wishes to have no par-take in its creation.

Just beautiful!
